My current model I'm working on. The character and concept art by Taylor Fischer. And my finalized Knight, posed with his spear. Rendered in Maya since Marmoset is deciding not to work currently.
After a looking at a few ZSphere and ZSketch tutorials, I reworked the base for the better. I'm currently learning my way with using ZSketch, so far it's a pretty great tool. I've been using a combination of feline and canine anatomy references for the bottom half.
My second project I've been working on this week, a female barbarian inspired warrior.I'm testing out a few alpha map and planes for different hair effects. It still needs some work but it's fun experimenting with it.
A new project I'm starting for my independent study class. This character is a knight of my own design and I will be modeling him over the next week and a half.
Finished model of the Statue Cat, rendered in Marmoset. I had an issue with Marmoset not separating the Character model and Base mesh and that kept me from giving each mesh its own texture. I managed with the top screenshot by Photoshoping two screenshots together. I haven't found a solution to this problem yet. You can see the materials problem I'm having in the bottom screenshot.
I've finished modeling and texturing my alien. It turned out much better than I originally thought it'd look so far. Next up for her is rigging then on to animating.
